Q. What is a free trial lesson?
A. You can take a 4-week lesson for free by joining a regular class.
Q.Is there a free trial for all grades?
A. It depends on the situation at that time. For more information, please contact us from the menu on the left side of the screen.
Q. I'm worried about the PC operation during the experience...
A. At our school, we conduct classes using Google's group call Meet and its applications. See system requirements for Meet here. Please download under the recommended environment by yourself, but please be assured that there is a free support service on how to use it before the experience.
Q. How many people do the experience?
A.We will prepare up to 4 students to participate in the class (possibly 5 including yourself).
Q.How long is the experience?
A.It depends on the grade. You will experience the same time as a regular lesson (minimum 1 hour, maximum 2 hours). Please refer to the table on the left menu "Prices and payment".
Q.Is the experience teacher the same as the actual teacher?
A. There is a high possibility that they will be the same teacher.
Q.Is it possible to experience with siblings?
A.It is possible. If you do it on the same date and time, you will need to have two PCs or tablets. If it is a different date and time, it is not necessary.
Q.What do I need for the experience?
A. Textbook notes and video chat on Google. You will need a microphone and webcam. (However, it is not necessary for the PC built-in type.) In addition, headphones are strongly recommended as an echo countermeasure.
Q.Do parents not have to be near their children?
A.Please stay close to your child. Also, since it is a machine partner, sometimes unintended problems may occur. I would like you to try to respond to the side until you get used to the operation of the PC.
Q.Can I enter the school immediately after completing the experience?
A.We accept enrollment at any time. You will be officially admitted to the school upon payment of the designated tuition fee by the designated date and confirmation of the registered items.
Q. What do I need to register for provisional registration?
A. Register your phone number, name, grade, guardian name, and email address.
Q.Why is provisional registration necessary?
A.At our school, the maximum number of students per class is 2 to 5, and in principle we do not create classes with one student. (However, depending on the situation, there are also one-on-one classes.) Basically, if there are less than two students in the same grade, we will not be able to form a class, so even if you wish, we will not be able to enroll immediately, and provisional registration will not be possible. It becomes necessary. In principle, classes will be decided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q. What happens if I fail to make provisional registration?
A.If you fail to make provisional registration, you will be asked to wait until all the participants are on the waiting list, or you will be asked to decline. If you put it on the waiting list, we will contact you as soon as we have the number of people. From there, you will be registered and you will be able to start taking classes. During the period until the official registration, we will distribute the homework for the desired grade every week so that students can smoothly enter the class. (Homework distribution is free of charge.) However, just because you are on the waiting list does not guarantee that you will be able to register.
Q.What do I register in this registration?
A. In addition to registering as a provisional registration, you will be required to decide on your address, child's date of birth, and payment method. The registration will be completed when the remittance is made by the designated payment date.
Q.Do I need to pay the admission fee and textbook fee separately?
A. Please refer to the separate page "Fees and payment" for tuition fees. There is no admission fee or textbook fee.
Q.Do I have to pay the tuition fees for the absence of classes?
A. Tuition fees are due on the 15th of the previous month. As a general rule, no refunds will be made for missed tuition fees. If a class is canceled due to the circumstances of our school, the schedule will be postponed and a make-up class will be held.
Q.Please tell me the payment method.
A.You can pay in dollars and yen. For more information, please see "Fees and Payments" on the left menu.
Q.How should I proceed when I drop out of school?
A. Please let us know by email by the 10th of the month prior to your withdrawal. We will then proceed with the payment process. Please note that after the 11th, payment for the following month will be determined, and you will be expelled from the month after next.
Q. How is the class determined?
Students are sorted by desired day of the week and desired grade, and in principle classes are decided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q.I started taking classes, but I found out that they are not a good match for me. Can I cancel?
A. If you let us know by the 10th, you can stop the payment from the next month. Therefore, it is thought that it would be more efficient to take the course all the way through the first month, but it is up to you how you do it. Please note that requests made after the 11th will be stopped from the month after next. First of all, we recommend that you carefully examine it through experience.
Q.It seems that you don't get along with the teacher. Could you change the instructor?
A. Yes, depending on the situation. First of all, please contact us by e-mail.
Q.Can I request a one-on-one lesson?
A. In principle, we do not accept such lessons at our school, but depending on the situation, we may open them as reinforcement lessons.
Q.Is it possible to change the grade in the middle?
A. It is possible depending on the situation, but you may have to wait. Please contact us by email.
Q.What should I do if I am absent?
A. Please contact the representative of our school at least 2 hours in advance. If you know your plans in advance, such as a family trip, it would be helpful if you could contact us as soon as possible. We are ready to record and send it to you if requested.
Q.Is it possible to take a leave of absence for only one month?
A. Yes, we are open to consultation.
Q.Do you have teaching materials?
A. Yes. There are teaching materials to be used in class and teaching materials for homework. After each class, the teacher in charge will send homework as an attachment to an email.
Q.Is there a test?
A. There are tests for each grade and subject, such as kanji tests, reading aloud, and multiplication tables.
Q. How often do you study at home?
A. There are differences between grades and individuals, but we will provide a week's worth of homework within a reasonable range.
Q.Can I really maintain and improve my Japanese at this Japanese supplementary school?
A. Our school is a supplementary school. Not recommended if you think you can maintain and stretch once a week. Based on weekly classes, students should work on their daily homework and read textbooks repeatedly. Also, let me read a lot of Japanese books. Reading is an important point to maintain Japanese. Try to "listen" and "speak" on weekends and holidays, and "write" and "read" on weekdays.
